Wound Care Nurse (RN) Location: Schervier Rehab and Nursing Center – Bronx, NY Schedule: Full-Time Pay: Competitive, based on experience About Us Schervier Rehab and Nursing Center is a well-respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility committed to providing the highest standard of care for our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Wound Care Nurse . Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide and document wound care treatments per physician orders and facility protocols Monitor wound healing progress and communicate updates to physicians and families Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care Educate nursing staff on wound prevention, care techniques, and infection control practices Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies Qualifications Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State Prior wound care experience required (WCC certification preferred) Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to quality care Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Sick Time 401(k) Retirement Plan Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Supportive management and a positive work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Schervier Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
