Berkshire Medical Center Crisis Response

Registered Nurse (RN) - CCU

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit (CCU). This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient conditions in the CCU.
Provide critical care interventions and administer medications as prescribed.
Utilize advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, ICP monitoring systems, and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about treatment options and care strategies.

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts State License as a Registered Nurse, with a conditional license accepted.
Minimum of two years of experience in a critical care unit (CCU/ICU).
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
Proficiency in the use of ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Shift Information

This position requires availability for day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
