Classification: SENIOR UTILITIES ENGINEER (SPECIALIST) $11,437.00 - $14,315.00 New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable. # of Positions: 1 Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Department Information Safety & Enforcement Division/ Wildfire Safety & Enforcement Division: Department Website: Job Description And Duties Under the general direction of a Program and Project Supervisor, the Senior Utilities Engineer (Specialist) [SUE(Spec)] is responsible for exercising Commission oversight of wildfire safety matters concerning electric and communication facilities including, but not limited to, wildfire safety regulations and guidelines, and enforcement of the requirements of applicable Commission General Orders and Decisions. The SUE(Spec) serves in a staff and sometimes in a lead capacity. Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions. The position(s) require(s) a(n) Professional Engineer License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired. Prepare and submit a response for each question below.
