Purple Drive Snowflake Engineer (Big Query Migration) Share Contractual Jersey City, NJ | Tampa, FL | Dallas, TX Overview: Leads the migration of enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics workloads from Google BigQuery to Snowflake. This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, SQL optimization, and data modeling, as well as hands-on experience with BigQuery schemas, UDFs, and partitioning strategies. The engineer will be responsible for translating query logic, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration. Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt), secure data sharing, and compliance with financial data governance standards is essential. The Data Analytics workstream is comprised of the following high level objectives: Migrate LedgerScan data warehouse from Google BigQuery to Snowflake Deliver Ledgerscan data analytics requirements on the Snowflake platform Ensure all non-functional requirements are built into the solution (Capacity, Integrity, Resiliency, Availability, Security, Performance) Enable consumption and dissemination of data via APIs and/or BI tools Purple Drive
