Primary Function (Job Goal) The Superintendent of Schools is the educational leader and chief executive officer of the school district. He/she is the primary advisor to the Board of Education, is accountable directly to it, and works closely with the Board and its committees. The district consists of five elementary schools Pre-K through 4th grade, a 5th and 6th grade intermediate school and a middle school for 7th and 8th grade students. The district serves approximately 4,000 students.
