Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Locum Tenens CRNA to join its anesthesia care team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures (general, ortho, GI, urology, OB depending on facility).
• Conduct pre‑anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and manage post‑anesthesia recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols and regulatory standards.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts
• No call requirement
• Case Types: Bread & butter, ortho and endo
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
• Current Florida APRN license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 1–2 years of anesthesia experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage diverse case loads
• Experience with regional anesthesia preferred but not required
