Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with the aging processes.What truly matters:Execute menu items, plate presentation, and food quality to company standards.Knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, recipes, and equipment used for dining facilities.Maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standardsAssist Kitchen manager with inventory controls and follow budgets.Ability to remain calm in a variety of situations and use sound judgmentAbility to work flexible hours as needed. Honestly, you'll do great, and we can train everything else.What you'll be responsible for:Know how to follow a recipePrepare hot and cold menu items for residents three times a day.Ensure the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu.Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and sanitation schedulesProvide exceptional customer service and care to our senior residentsServe-safe training certification and ongoing trainingEnsure compliance with all laws and regulations as they relate to food service within the communitiesWork schedule:8 hour shift10 hour shift12 hour shiftWeekend availabilityMonday to FridayOn callHolidaysDay shiftNight shiftOvertimeBenefits:Paid time offFlexible schedulePaid training
