Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role requires a dedicated professional to provide exceptional respiratory care services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Scheduled Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed
• Occupational floating to similar units required as needed
• Weekend requirements to be determined by the facility

Job Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory needs and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 24 months of recent RRT experience within the last 12 months is required.
• Active life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No disciplinary action or issues on the state license to practice.
• All candidates must possess a valid driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be able to start on the specified start date, or no more than one week later.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be detailed and cannot exceed 7 days, with no RTO during the first week of the assignment.
• Candidates should provide a list of all facilities they are willing to work in and specify their availability with shifts and departments they are comfortable with.
