This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide high-quality patient care across various medical and surgical units. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote patient health and well-being, while also adapting to the dynamic needs of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments to patients in accordance with nursing standards.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License (state-specific).
• Must have NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• A minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience is preferred.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
