License: Active RN License in Vermont or Compact

Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association ACLS

Must-Have: Charge experience; drip experience with insulin, esmolol, and sodium drips; willingness to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice; supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.

Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit. Travelers may be asked to provide Progressive Care Unit care. This care is non-negotiable and may not be refused. Drip experience is required. Must have experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips. Charge experience is required for this need. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. The unit has 25 beds. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified during the application process. Requests for time off after submission or during the interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. It is essential to ensure that all travelers uploaded to this need can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail will be redirected. Holiday multipliers and call-back policies are not applicable for this need. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer or during the interview.
