Job Details Part‑time nursing position in the Maternity department at Atrium Health Pineville. Hours: 24 per week with two 12‑hour day shifts, holiday rotation, and weekend rotation. Schedule Details 2, 12‑hour day shifts per week Holiday rotation Weekend rotation Pay Range $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Location Atrium Health Pineville Mother‑Baby unit is a 22‑bed unit caring for postpartum women and newborns. The unit is designated Baby‑Friendly Hospital and ANCC Pathways to Excellence and focuses on lactation support and maternal‑newborn care. It offers a teamwork‑focused environment with opportunities to grow and learn new skills. Responsibilities Direct provision of patient care and assistance to the manager with daily operations, including coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, rounding with physicians and staff, staff selection, development and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain clinical competency appropriate to the patient population. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications and experience.
