Learn more at Technician II****Michigan Center, MI****Position Overview** The Lab Technician II supports laboratory testing, product verification, and research activities across R&D and cross-functional teams. This role conducts complex experiments with minimal supervision and ensures high-quality data to advance product development. The technician helps maintain lab equipment, documentation, and safety standards to support operational excellence.**Primary Responsibilities*** Conduct laboratory tests and experiments according to established procedures* Support new product verification through testing and data reporting* Record, analyze, and communicate test results accurately* Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment* Perform equipment troubleshooting and coordinate repairs* Assist with experimental design and process optimization* Support investigations related to product performance or customer feedback* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment**Minimum Requirements*** Education: Associate degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field* Experience: 4–6 years in a laboratory, R&D, or technical support environment* Skills: Proficiency with lab equipment and data documentation* Skills: Ability to follow standardized procedures and manage multiple tasks* Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the country of employment**Preferred Requirements*** Experience with polymer, adhesive, or materials testing* Experience supporting NPI or product development activities* Skills in basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting* Skills in cross-functional communication and collaborationPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.The salary for this role is $22.61 - $28.26/hr based on experience.In addition to your salary, H.B.
