Grievance Specialist (Temporary | 7 Months)
Portland, ME | $31.59-$39.03/hr | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Start Date: 9/21/26
Do you love solving problems, helping people, and digging into details? We're looking for a Grievance Specialist to join a leading health plan team! In this role, you'll investigate member concerns, resolve grievances and appeals, and help ensure every case is handled accurately and compassionately.
3+ years of managed care or health plan experience
Grievances and appeals experience preferred
Knowledge of claims, benefits, and member services
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
Experience with Medicare Advantage, TRICARE, health insurance, claims, member services, or health plan operations is highly desirable.
