Our client, a financial institution located in the financial district is seeking a long term full time Mailroom Associate to joing their growing team.

Monday-Friday 7a-4p flexible for 8a-5p.
$30.00-$32.00 per hour

Must be able to tracvel to their East Rutherford, NJ location as needed.

Job Description:
• Mail & Material Handling
Ability to sort, bundle, label, and distribute mail and printed materials accurately while following routing rules, deadlines, and security procedures. Attention to detail is critical to avoid mis delivery or reprints.
• Equipment Operation & Basic Maintenance
Hands-on skill operating mail processing equipment (postage meters, scanners, inserters) and print shop machinery (digital printers, cutters, folders, binders). Includes clearing jams, changing supplies, and identifying mechanical issues early.
• Quality Control & Inspection
Ability to physically inspect mail pieces and printed products for defects such as misprints, incorrect addresses, poor alignment, or damaged items—ensuring compliance with postal regulations and print standards before release.
• Manual Dexterity & Safety Awareness
Strong hand-eye coordination for tasks like feeding machines, trimming, packaging, sealing, and palletizing materials, while consistently following safety procedures, PPE requirements, and ergonomics to prevent injury.
• Time Management Under Production Pressure
Skill in physically managing workflow during peak volumes—prioritizing urgent jobs, meeting cutoff times, and maintaining productivity without sacrificing accuracy or safety.
Experience using systems like:
• USPS, FedEx, UPS shipping platforms
• Internal tracking tools (like BearTracks or similar)
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
Be well versed with MS Office
