Interventional Radiology Tech | Norwalk, Connecticut

Advance your expertise in medical imaging as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist through this contract opportunity. In this role, you'll contribute to delivering top-tier patient care by performing image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within an advanced clinical setting. Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program, with ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• IR specific certification or recent, relevant IR experience highly preferred.
• Current state licensure as required.
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent).
• Proficient in sterile technique, vascular access, and use of fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality, diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians during procedures by providing instruments, managing equipment, and monitoring patient status.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Adhere to infection control practices and implement radiation protection measures.
• Monitor supply inventory and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of procedure suites.
