What You Can Expect

Manage a busy Progressive Care Unit

Prepare, manage and control budget, monitor and analyze variances.

Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements.

Complete performance appraisal of staff members.

Quality compliance.

Oversee the process of assuring the clinical competence of personnel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care - Required

Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO. - Required

5 years Nursing/Patient Care - Required

2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills - Preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice - Required

Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months - Preferred

Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association - Required - if required by unit

Travel is required: Never or Rarely
