Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently* Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment* Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed* Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations**What Are We Looking For*** Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery* Strong focus on safety and compliance standards* Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments* Effective communication and teamwork skills* Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**What We Offer*** $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate* $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)* Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension* Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
