In this role, you'll work with production equipment, chemical processes, testing procedures, and quality inspections to help create high-performance materials. ✅ Operate production equipment used to manufacture conductive materials, metal-plated fibers, and coated non-woven products.

✅ Transfer and handle chemicals safely while following established procedures and safety guidelines.

✅ Prepare chemical solutions using written instructions and documented processes.

✅ Inspect incoming materials to ensure quality standards are met before production begins.

✅ Perform product testing and quality inspections on in-process and finished materials.

✅ Record production data, test results, and operating information accurately.

✅ Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.

✅ Clean and maintain production and testing equipment.

✅ Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

✅ Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and product quality.

✅ Assist with training and mentoring fellow operators when needed.

✅ Follow all company, environmental, and safety regulations.

✔ High School Diploma or GED.

✔ At least 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing, production, or chemical handling experience.

✔ Experience working in a production, assembly, or line operator role.

✔ Ability to safely handle chemicals and follow detailed procedures.

✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

✔ Ability to wear a respirator when required.

✔ Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

✔ Eligibility to work in the United States.

✔ Commitment to following OSHA, EPA, DEC, and company safety standards.

✔ Experience working in chemical processing or specialty manufacturing environments.

✔ Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization.

✔ Experience documenting production data and quality results.

✔ Ability to assist with training and coaching team members.

✔ Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

This position is based in a manufacturing facility that produces advanced conductive materials and involves working with chemicals, production equipment, and testing systems. Employees may be required to wear respirators and other PPE while handling materials and performing production activities. The facility maintains high standards for safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance, and team members are expected to follow all environmental health and safety procedures.

This is a Permanent position based out of Schenectady, NY.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
