CDL B - Truck Driver

CDL Class B Driver – Winterville, NC Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Winterville, NC location. Can have either CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. Responsibilities Safely deliver products to the job site Physically unload material per customer request Receive materials at the warehouse Load trucks Process inventory Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations for securing and distributing weight limits Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed in the busy season Qualifications 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience required or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsemen t or CDL Class A driver’s license Flatbed with Moffett operating experience desired Box Truck experience desired Ability to drive a manual transmission Current DOT medical card Clean driving record Must be at least 23 years of age Heavy lifting experience Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
