Senior Analyst - AI & Industrial Technologies (US based)

Verdantix is a research and advisory firm focused on industrial technologies. As a Senior Analyst you will work with teams in London, New York and Boston to conduct strategic research on how digital technologies transform manufacturing, oil & gas, mining and utilities. Your role involves interviewing industry leaders, producing high‑quality research documents, building quantitative models, and advising clients on technology adoption and strategy. Responsibilities Contribute to market research across Verdantix methodologies. Conduct research interviews with senior professionals in the IAM industry. Write high‑quality research documents in English. Produce reports on technology vendors and market news. Build quantitative models to size and forecast industrial technology markets. Support consulting projects on industrial asset maintenance, AI, safety, sustainability and related technologies. Analyze vendors and products for industrial software and smart factory technologies. Advise clients on strategy, market opportunities and technology adoption. Build strong client relationships with decision‑makers in operations, engineering and maintenance. Represent Verdantix at industry events and speaking engagements. Develop trusted relationships with clients and senior industry leaders. Support marketing by writing blogs and engaging in social media activities. Qualifications Undergraduate degree (preferably from a top‑tier university) in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related field. Post‑graduate qualification (Master’s or PhD) is a plus. 3+ years of experience in a factory or manufacturing plant setting, or within industrial software/consultancy. Experience in conducting research interviews and contributing to research reports. Strong passion for industrial technologies and awareness of emerging technologies such as AI. Ability to produce concise, high‑quality reports for a business audience. Quantitative skills and proficiency in Excel for large data sets. Experience developing PowerPoint decks for corporate audiences. Broad interest in the future of industrial technologies. Compensation & Benefits Base salary in the range of $90,000 – $105,000 (dependent on experience) plus a competitive quarterly bonus. Performance‑driven quarterly bonus scheme. Annual salary review.
