Job Description:

They are looking for an RN with leadership/Director of Nursing experience to fulfill an 13 week contract. RN license requirement and interested in candidates only with previous management experience, preferably DON experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate nursing team members.
• Ensure high-quality resident care and oversee assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations and lead survey readiness efforts.
• Monitor quality measures, infection control, medication management, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate clinical coverage.
• Investigate incidents, address resident and family concerns, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, administration, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident outcomes.
• Oversee nursing department operations, policies, procedures, and resource management.
