Pharmacist Job
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be licensed (unrestricted) as a pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
Must complete facility and HHSC required training
Pharmacist must be proficient in computers/electronic health records and order/prescription processing.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs technical, clinical and consultative pharmacy services for our Client.
- These include Drug Utilization Review (DUR) functions, dispensing functions, creating and maintaining records of services performed, participating in the drug inventory control system.
- Ability to check weekly carts, cart update fill, refills, checking weekly narcotic orders and updates, and process furlough medications.
- Maintains proper inventory management control.
- Must have good communication skills, organized, and able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work with an interdisciplinary team.
- Able to supervise technicians in the absence of the pharmacy director.
