We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.**Key Position Details:** Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute is seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider, with ideally heart failure experience, to join the practice based in St. Paul and Woodbury clinics. * Monday through Friday, with one weekday off* Four 10-hour shifts, including seeing patients during typical clinical hours, with other hours for charting* No holidays, weekends, or on-call **Job Description:****Principle Responsibilities:*** Completes comprehensive patient assessments* Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness* Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician* Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment* Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care**Required Qualifications:*** Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program**Preferred Qualifications:*** New graduates may be considered. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology or ICU**Licenses/Certifications:*** Master's degree completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required* Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA -National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) - American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire* Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP candidates)* Active MN & WI NP/PA license (or ability to obtain).* BLS certification required with in 180 days of hire.* Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).* Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.**Physical Demands:*** Medium Work\\*:* Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (\\*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently**Pay Range**### Pay Range: $56.48 to $78.15 per hour### The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
