Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. Key Responsibilities Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician's orders and established protocols. Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Perform quality control on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Schedule / Shift Days Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Skills Proficient in diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging techniques. Knowledge of radiation safety principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Unit / Specialty Nuclear Medicine #J-18808-Ljbffr
