Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) assignment in Stuart, Florida. Position Details Specialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS certification At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care MICU setting Other requirements to be determined by the client facility Duties & Responsibilities MICU Nurse (RN) manages the care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide patient care, education, and support to patients and their families. Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition. Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration. Assist in emergency procedures to control rapid changes in patient condition. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
