Shipping PositionParallel Employment is hiring for a shipping position for a food manufacturing company in Cheektowaga, NY.In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products are accurately handled and stored according to company standards.Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMWage: $20 to $22 an hourResponsibilities:Use forklift and powered industrial truck to pull inventory and deliver production materials and supplies to productionMust have Reach and Lift Truck experienceInspect and report any damaged or missing itemsUse RF scanners for inventory movementInventory controlWrap and tag palletsOperate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacksAdhere to all safety procedures and guidelinesRequirements:Prior experience as a material handler or in a similar roleMust have Reach and Lift Truck experienceExperience operating forklifts and other material handling equipmentAbility to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of timeExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilities
