Key Duties Construct and put together metal parts for heating and cooling units based on project requirements. Analyze and translate technical diagrams, blueprints, and project specifications. Operate a variety of equipment and hand tools to accurately shape, cut, and form metal stock. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following all industry protocols. Work alongside colleagues to ensure project milestones are met within established timelines and financial goals. Conduct thorough inspections of completed components to verify their structural integrity and precision. Keep the workspace tidy and systematically arranged. Support the team by identifying and fixing fabrication challenges as they occur. Required Skills and Experience Completion of secondary education; additional vocational training in metalworking or HVAC is advantageous. Demonstrated background in sheet metal fabrication, ideally within the HVAC sector. Comprehensive knowledge of how HVAC systems are structured and function. Skilled in the operation of specialized machinery and manual tools used for metalwork. Capable of interpreting complex technical blueprints and schematics.
