With extensive experience in operating both local and national brands, including CNBC, PGA TOUR, Brooks Brothers, Brighton Collectibles, and Harley Davidson, Pandora, Spanx, etc. Paradies Lagardere operates in more airports than any other retail concessionaire.The ideal candidate will have retail and sales experience and a desire to join an exciting, energetic and trend setting airport concessionaire. This role drives the company's key performance metrics by delivering an exceptional customer store experience through the associates they manage.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPromptly resolve all customer service and associate issues in accordance with our Core ValuesExceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every customer, business partners and peersTreat customers and peers in accordance with the core values of the companyEnsure store merchandising standards are consistently executed per the company guidelinesPartner with the General Manager to ensure consistent implementation of the organizational policies and goals set forth by the company, while holding the team accountable to such standardsInfluence and make recommendations to help achieve performance objectives in the areas of sales, expenses, inventory control, and payroll while monitoring overall P&L results and formulating action plans as neededTrain, motivate, and develop a professional team that possesses the ability to achieve sales goals while adhering to company performance metrics, implementing promotional programs, and coordinating special eventsBuild strong business relationships with airport management, brand partners, and the Support Center Team through the use of clear, consistent communicationMonitor and address performance issues in a timely manner while providing on-going coaching and counselingPerform all basic human resource functions including interviewing, succession planning, training, scheduling, and performance reviewsJob QualificationsBachelor's degree and high school diploma or equivalency requiredMinimum three (3) years of leadership in merchandising, the service industry and/or operations environmentAbility to work flexible shifts in a 7/365 day team oriented environment; occasional travel as business dictatesExceptional customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English languageSelf-starter able to prioritize numerous tasks and adapt to unexpected situations simultaneouslyProficiency required in reading, writing, mathematics, cash handling/ reportingProficiency required in Microsoft OfficeAbility to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable Department of Transportation requirementsStanding for long periods of time and the ability to work in environments with varying temperaturesAbility to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform essential job functions such as standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distancesRetail stores, warehouses, or office environmentsOccasional travel may be required based on the needs of the businessEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
