Senior Supply Chain Compliance Analyst

Sponsorship: No. Senior Supply Chain Compliance Analyst In this role you leverage a comprehensive knowledge of Nissan North America’s core supply chain, quality, purchasing, and development practices, combined with data science, statistical modeling, and AI to optimize operations for legal and ethical compliance with existing and emerging U.S. and International law. Responsibilities Maintain and apply regulatory expertise in supplier solicitations regarding vendor Tier N information for foreign and domestic content of imported, exported, and domestically procured service and production parts and Nissan‑produced vehicles. Review and analyze actual or potential adverse impacts on human rights throughout the supply chain. Recommend, establish, implement, monitor, revise, and interpret departmental and cross‑functional procedures to ensure import and export of foreign goods in compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations. Implement preventative and remedial measures to address risks and monitor and report on measures taken to address risks. Coordinate with outsourced partners to develop and continuously improve the existing due diligence processes while ensuring strategic alignment to broader compliance and sustainability matters impacting Nissan. Communicate compliance requirements effectively to stakeholders. Prepare system enhancement requests and problem reports; prepare detailed specification documents for IS/IT projects to streamline processes with greater scale and efficiency. Coordinate system enhancements and provide project support and analysis for system related projects. Coordinate with domestic and foreign NML personnel, other SCM, NPO, and PQE analysts & engineers. Interface with external service providers and parts vendors professionally and with great discernment and care. Support Supply Chain Compliance, Legal, Risk, Customs and Trade, and SCM Innovations operations staff, and coordinate efforts to identify and implement operational synergies and efficiencies. Monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to supply chain compliance. Develop supportive scorecards, standards, and protocols as needed within Supply Chain Compliance to aid in the regular reporting and governance of the department. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of related experience at a professional level, plus a Bachelor's degree. Experience in Human Rights due diligence (UN, OECD, CSDDD, UFLPA). Ability to understand technical attributes of mass production parts and the associated manufacturing processes. Ability to deliver timely results with an ethical mindset under limited supervision required. Experience with process improvement of workstreams (research, benchmarking, etc.). Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna, TN. Desired: MBA degree is a plus. Understanding of supply chains typical of manufacturing industries (Dept of Defense, Aerospace, Healthcare, or Automotive) is preferred. Experience with supply chain resiliency tools is a bonus. Knowledge of CSCC, BOM, DCC, PSW, and International Logistics is desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, change management, and project management skills. Experience or participation in civil society or human rights organizations is preferred.
