RN Supervisor – Pediatric | Evening ShiftLocation: Brooklyn, NY Salary: $130,000–$140,000 per year Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Evening ShiftDitmas Children's Nursing & Rehab is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our pediatric nursing leadership team for the evening shift.The RN Supervisor will oversee the nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to medically complex pediatric residents. This position requires a clinically strong RN who can lead the nursing staff, respond to changes in resident condition, and ensure appropriate communication and follow-through throughout the evening shift.Candidates must have previous PICU or NICU experience and be comfortable working with children who have complex medical and clinical needs.ResponsibilitiesSupervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff during the evening shiftOversee the care of medically complex pediatric residentsProvide hands-on clinical guidance and leadership to the nursing teamMonitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate interventionsOversee admissions, transfers, physician orders, medications, treatments, and nursing documentationEnsure nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards are consistently followedRespond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership during urgent situationsCommunicate with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary care teamEnsure appropriate staffing and nursing coverage throughout the shiftReview nursing documentation for accuracy and completenessFollow up on incidents, clinical concerns, and changes in resident conditionEnsure a smooth transition and appropriate communication between shiftsQualificationsCurrent New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licensePICU or NICU experience requiredExperience caring for medically complex pediatric patientsPrevious RN Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or nursing leadership experience strongly preferredStrong pediatric assessment and critical-care skillsAbility to remain calm and provide leadership during clinical emergenciesStrong communication, organizational, and supervisory skillsCompensation & Benefits$130,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience.Benefits for eligible full-time employees include:Health insurancePaid time offJoin the team at Ditmas Children's Nursing & Rehab and take a leadership role in providing high-quality care to children with complex medical needs.
