This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a safe and positive patient experience.Position DetailsEmployment Type: PRN (as needed)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PMDepartment: ImagingTravel: None requiredSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneCompensation: Commensurate with experienceKey ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician ordersEnsure accurate patient positioning and proper selection of imaging parametersGuide patients through procedures with clear communication and compassionate careMonitor patient safety throughout imaging, including screening for MRI contraindicationsCollaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal imaging outcomesMaintain imaging equipment and ensure quality control standards are metManage workflow efficiently to support timely patient care and diagnosisMaintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and hospital standardsMinimum QualificationsCertification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification – requiredCertification: Current CPR certification – requiredExperience: Minimum of six (6) months MRI clinical experience preferredCore CompetenciesStrong technical knowledge of MRI procedures, positioning, and safety protocolsAttention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracyAbility to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the care teamExcellent patient communication and interpersonal skillsProfessionalism and accountability in all aspects of careEmployment RequirementsCompliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)BenefitsPRN employees are eligible for select benefits in accordance with hospital policy.
