Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary Responsible for the receipt, documentation, verification and loading/unloading of incoming and outgoing supplies and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries according to the company’s commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations. Delivers the company’s products to the appropriate department and/or individual, and places components on shelf and bin locations. Assists with daily warehouse duties including jobs, cycle counts, shrink wrap, and other tasks as needed. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Process incoming shipments and record them in the computer system. Deliver products and move inventory to proper locations. Read and respond to emails, and copy and file Receiving Department paperwork. Process return purchase orders, pick components for jobs, issue and maintain an organized and tidy work area. Assist with inventory control. Assist with the delivery of furniture for the Production Department. Pack and process UPS and FedEx freight shipments. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Location Corporate – Aurora, NY 13026 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Computer proficiency including word processing. Analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to administrative problems, and prioritize work. Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of and ability to follow safety procedures. Working knowledge of computerized receiving processes, product class codes, and returns procedures. Problem‑solving ability. Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Equipment Used Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, calculator, various hand and power tools, forklift, and pallet jack. Computer Software Outlook, Word, Excel, NetSuite, and ProShip. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive hand or wrist motions. Frequent exertion of over 50 pounds of force and/or constant exertion of over 20 pounds of force to move objects. Close mental and visual attention required for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Environmental Conditions Work is performed in a warehouse with exposure to temperature changes, noise, potential for physical injury, and proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
