Embedded Software Engineer, Flight Computer

Salary: $143,700 - 194,400 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• We need at least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new or existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require experience programming in at least one software language.
• We prefer 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.
• Due to export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or otherwise lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

• We develop embedded software in C++, Rust, or other modern programming languages.
• We write software that interfaces with electronics and devices using I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, and similar protocols.
• We build device drivers and system applications for our satellite platforms.
• We partner closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing.
• We contribute across the full software development process, from requirements through implementation, testing, and operations.
