Customer Care Representative

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional support to customers by managing daily activities such as customer orders, presale inquiries, and post-sale transactions. Collaborating with internal partners, the representative applies excellent customer service and communication skills, along with order management capabilities and system knowledge, to support designated territories and fulfill customer needs. This role embodies the company's brand and value proposition, serving as the 'face to the customer' in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders with utmost accuracy by reviewing purchase orders, customer material information, and entering orders into SAP & Rubicon.
• Respond to customer inquiries with urgency and aim for first contact resolution.
• Run back/late order reports and collaborate with customers to manage expectations and proactively resolve issues.
• Administer customer order changes, expedites, tracking, and cancellations.
• Assist in promptly updating customer and material information in SAP & Rubicon.
• Administer sample requests from customers and the sales team.
• Process all incoming emails, calls, and faxes accurately and promptly.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to process efficiency and continuous improvement efforts in customer experience.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints, determining causes, and providing solutions.
• Utilize SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel effectively.
• Collaborate with salespersons to service customers regarding changes in the Customer Master file.
• Actively participate in opportunities to improve knowledge of the company, products, markets, and systems.
• Use continuous improvement methodology and resources to enhance customer experience and drive process efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to share information and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Actively work towards and contribute to the success of individual and team goals/metrics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual preferred
• 6 months + of customer service experience in any industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), CRM (Salesforce), ERP systems (SAP)

Work Environment

The role operates on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is potential for remote work on Fridays, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51250.00 - $58240.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
