Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed acute care unit serving a diverse population, primarily General Surgery and Trauma patients
• Care for post-surgical patients comprising approximately 90% of the unit census, as well as patients with medical diagnoses
• Utilize cardiac monitoring, capnography/end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and continuous pulse oximetry available in all patient rooms
• Document and manage patient care using the Epic electronic health record system
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or Virginia RN license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated Epic electronic health record experience
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Ability to adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
