Small World Travel is a team of luxury travel advisors who specialize in designing one-of-a-kind family adventures. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Travel Advisor to help us create meaningful and memorable travel experiences. Job Description As a Travel Advisor you will be part of a team that arranges all aspects of travel from booking flights and accommodations to arranging transportation, and experiences. Each day will be unique and will require destination expertise, problem solving ability, time management skills, flexibility, and teamwork to provide high quality service and advice in a timely manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and possesses travel and travel-industry experience, attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and an innate passion for travel. Responsibilities Determine clients’ needs, preferences and budget to customize travel itineraries Communicate with clients to provide travel advice and trip booking status in a timely manner Work with trusted suppliers to create detailed itineraries using itinerary management software Arrange and manage flights, hotels, transportation, activities & experiences, and other travel services Manage client payments and invoicing Stay up-to-date on travel regulations, visa requirements, and safety protocols across destinations Build, maintain, and quality check client profiles in CRM Provide exceptional customer service and always treat clients fairly and with respect Possess knowledge of destinations around the world Willingness to handle client’s travel-related issues or emergencies when they arise, sometimes after hours and on weekends Undertake project work or additional tasks as requested, as well as proactively seek out other areas where support might be needed Qualifications Travel industry experience Destinations knowledge and travel experience Must be a team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Possess the ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Able to handle high-stress situations and remain calm Detail oriented multi-tasker with excellent time-management, organizational skills, follow through, and follow up Excellent analytical and communication ability, both verbal and written Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneously Technologically savvy with proficiency across a multiple of platforms GDS (Sabre) experience is a plus Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Small World Travel
