Grounds Technician

Full-Time Help Needed for the Grounds Crew at QPRC

This Full-Time position, working with our  Grounds Crew , is ideal for someone who is looking to be active and spend a lot of time outdoors !

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Mowing, trimming, blowing, or cutting grass, shrubbery and minor tree trimming.
• Landscaping responsibilities such as mulching, weeding, plantings, cleaning out, etc.
• Caring for and maintenance of all the fountains around the site.
• Regularly cleaning and sweeping off outside entrances, patios, gazebo’s, etc. 
• Assist the Facility Services Department during snow removal process and safely operate both small and large equipment (i.e., snow blowers, Bobcat, salt spreaders, etc.). 
• Basic maintenance tasks as assigned (i.e., moving furniture, event set ups, etc.)

Requirements :

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid PA Driver's License
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong customer service skills
• Enjoys being outside
• Able to work alone or as part of a team
