Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, NRP required Must-Have: - Experience in postpartum care - Skills in newborn assessment and phototherapy - Knowledge of discharge teaching to parents - Familiarity with breastfeeding instructions and pain assessment Description: This role involves caring for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period. You will provide support in newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and managing postpartum hemorrhage. You will assist with both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. Management of pain assessment and opioid administration will be part of your responsibilities. You will be involved in discharge teaching to ensure parents are well-prepared. Your ability to perform bladder assessments and Foley catheter insertions is essential. Good communication skills are necessary to support families effectively. You will participate in interdisciplinary teamwork to provide optimal patient care. Applicants must have a valid state nursing license and the required certifications.
