As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellpower, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals and families seeking help.

• Facilitating therapeutic sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of issues, such as conflict resolution, mental health disorders, substance abuse, and trauma recovery.

• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to the individual needs of clients, ensuring that therapy goals are both measurable and achievable.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to refer clients to internal and external resources, specialists, or additional support services as appropriate.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Your primary focus will be on treating clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to:

• Adjustment disorders related to life changes such as separation and divorce.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts including familial disputes and sibling rivalry.
\n
• Substance abuse and recovery.
\n
• Grief and loss challenges.
\n
• Concerns arising from blended family dynamics and medical issues.

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and continuing education in the field of mental health.
