Manage direct reports on a specific, assigned projectDevelops cost estimates from take-off stage to bid hand-offPerforms site inspections to fully determine the labor and materials needsAnalyzes material, labor requirements, and general conditions to complete a projectAttends pre-bid and scope review meetingsResponsible for leading and directing the flow of information for bid reviewsComputes and submits bidsInterprets the specifications and blueprints to determine design intentCoordinates with engineers, customers, vendors, and Project ManagersManages quotation process with vendorsDetermines equipment needsCapable of producing ROM and budgetary estimatesMaintains up-to-date information in Opportunity TrackerPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorRequirementsBachelors in Construction Management or Engineering or Technical Training in related field.10+ years electrical construction experience5+ years electrical estimating experience, preferredKnowledge of NEC and Low Voltage SystemsEstimating software.
