As an Associate Buyer, you will build the foundation of your procurement career while supporting a world‑class aerospace manufacturing operation. In this entry‑level role, you'll work closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to ensure critical materials and services are delivered on time, at the right cost, and to the highest quality standards. What You Will Do Support procurement activities for assigned aerospace commodities and services. Develop and maintain supplier relationships while gathering and validating pricing, specifications, and delivery information. Solicit supplier quotations, evaluate bids, and assist with negotiating favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Create and manage purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies and business requirements. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and other stakeholders to support operational objectives. Track supplier performance related to cost, quality, delivery, and compliance. Resolve procurement issues, shipment delays, discrepancies, and supplier concerns through timely corrective actions. Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and ITAR requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. Entry-level experience with an interest in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound business decisions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions. Demonstrated sense of urgency and commitment to meeting customer and operational needs. Basic knowledge of purchasing methods, supplier management, or procurement processes is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ERP or SAP experience is a plus. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Position Purpose: Under general supervision, supports the procurement function by executing cost‑effective and compliant purchasing procedures for aerospace commodities and services. Ensures alignment with product specifications, user requirements, and company policies, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain. Resolve procurement‑related issues including delivery delays, discrepancies, and payment concerns through appropriate corrective actions . Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and ITAR where applicable . Perform other duties as assigned.
