Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced, high-turnover unit with a focus on drip management, IV treatments, and telemetry. Ensuring quality patient care within a Magnet-designated facility, the nurse will work night shifts with opportunities for flexibility and on-call shifts, supporting a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, from 06:45 PM to 07:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, NIHSS certification; at least 1 year of experience caring for patients in a Medical Surgical environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior telemetry reading experience, ability to care for COVID-19 patients, and experience with high patient turnover units.
• Schedule: Night shifts with self-scheduling options; 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period; holiday work may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes 2-3 unit-specific shifts during the first week. RN may float to related units such as Medical, Medical Oncology, or Telemetry. Nurses are provided with phones and trackers. This is a Magnet facility with stroke and bariatric certifications. Overtime may be available when needed, with potential opportunities to precept. Must comply with scrub policy: navy blue scrubs with the CRMC logo. Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.
