Scope of Responsibility

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead team of care providers.

Responsible to Director of ICU

Education

Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree

Training and Experience

Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
Obtains and maintains American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
Obtains and maintains American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
1 - 2 years previous critical care experience preferred
