With a focus on reliability, driver experience, and cutting-edge technology, Oshkosh Delivery empowers fleets and businesses to move goods smarter, safer, and with confidence, today and for the road ahead.Maintenance Tech II will perform a variety of skilled journey-level duties which involves inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation.Essential Duties:Resolves daily technical issues and repair breakdowns and malfunctionsMaintains equipment and machinery compliance with operating standards and process specificationsMaintains preventative maintenance schedulesSupport and maintain facility systemsTroubleshooting, problem solving, and modifications or upgrades on electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipmentProvide support for Programmable Logic Controllers and robotsAssist in installing new electronic/electrical control equipmentRepair and replace motors, pulleys, and conveyorsSetup and operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking toolsOther duties, as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Ability to become forklift certifiedAt least three years of applicable position experienceApplicable training or certification program in equivalent field (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Tech)Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsSolid computer, math, and reading skillsMaintain competency to perform task independently or as a teamAbility to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processesMust be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordinglyAbility to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standardPreferred Qualifications:Experience in automotive manufacturingHigh School Diploma/GEDCompetencies:Accountability: Responsible for the consequences of one's actionsAnalytical Thinking: Requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problemsAttention to detail: Ability to see and become attentive to detailsCooperation: Ability to work effectively with others to achieve a shared goal, even when the object at stake is of no direct personal interestDependability: Being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations; punctual and meeting work attendance and deadline requirementsFlexible: Ability to respond, modify, and integrate change with minimal personal resistanceIdentification with Management: Ability and willingness to understand, accept, and carry out decisions and measures from managersInitiative: Recognize and create opportunities and act accordingly rather than waiting passively for opportunities to happenInnovation: Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problemsInsight: Having and gaining insight into situations, problems, and processesPersistence: Continuance in a course of action despite difficulty or oppositionIntegrity: Adhering to standards, values, and code of conduct within positionStress management: Ability to perform under pressure and within fast-paced environmentsReliability: Extent to which you can be counted on to do what is expected (completing assigned tasks, projects, and meeting deadlines)Team-oriented: Working well with others and maintaining a focus and value on teamWorking Conditions:Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Occasionally required to sit. Must frequently squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head, and reach forward. Ability to climb ladders, bend, and crawl in awkward spaces. Use of hands and fingers to grasp tools, supplies, and equipment (manual and finger dexterity). Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. on a continuous basis. Ability to see details at a distance and at close range.Environmental Demands: Indoors/Outdoors (extreme cold and/or heat); Frequent Task Changes, Tedious/Exacting Work, Dust, Temperature Extremes, Loud Noises. Occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals such a petroleum product, degreasers, and spays.
