Day Shift 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod
Patient Ratios 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds - team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
Type of equipment - Alaris
EMR -Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, Kansas License
Experience in traveling or experience at large facility areas
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
TNCC
Meditech experience
Been to a 52 bed ER or larger
Good grasp on patient experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics
Best personality Fit:
Able to keep up with our fast pace ER
Diverse and able to learn quickly, we are a young crowd and assume you can handle your own
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Expectation is that you scan your patient and medications every time
