Senior Power Consultant II

Schneider Electric is looking to hire a Senior Power Consultant II to join our Advisory and Engineering Services Organization who will work directly with customers and project teams to develop and deliver solutions that align with the end users’ goals. As the Senior Power Consultant II, you will serve as the technical advisor for both internal Schneider Electric (SE) entities and external customers. Your responsibilities include assessing customers' technical needs and objectives, and delivering solutions that align with project specifications, scope of work, schedule, and budget. You will also lead projects to ensure that the work, whether carried out personally or by others within the Advisory and Engineering Services Organization, aligns with project specifications and the stated scope of work (SOW), and is delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Design and implement solutions using protective relays, PLC, and HMI systems Interpret and modify schematics, one-line, and wiring diagrams Troubleshoot power system issues and implement corrective actions Lead and execute engineering work for PCA projects Serve as a trusted advisor to customers Develop technical reports, documentation, and deliverables Mentor junior engineers Qualifications - Required Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering 10+ years of experience in power systems or automation Experience programming, startup/ commissioning and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs and relays Experience modifying wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, one-lines and other standard electrical drawings. Strong communication and problem-solving skills Qualifications - Preferred Generator controls and distribution design Professional Engineer (PE) license Switchgear automation experience ( Work Environment & Travel Remote or hybrid work 30–50% travel Occasional after-hours support At Schneider, we believe that every employee is a talent who deserves equal opportunities. For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
