We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused MRI Technologist that is willing to cross-train to CT to join our team full-time at our Westover Hills facility in San Antonio, TX.

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm (40 hours per week) with no on-call requirements.

Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is proficient in MRI Imaging, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality for all examinations.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall experience.
• Administer contrast agents/media as directed and in accordance with physician orders, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy prior to imaging procedures.
• Maintain MRI equipment and promptly report any operational or maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to all MRI safety, radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of exam rooms and work areas.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) through ARRT
