Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for adult residents and interpret results to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Plan, implement, and adjust therapy programs to address communication and swallowing disorders, documenting progress regularly.
- Provide direct and group therapy, delivering evidence-based interventions aligned with resident goals and care plans.
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team (nursing, OT/PT, social work, and dietary) to support resident outcomes and ensure cohesive care.
- Educate residents, family members, and care staff on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in charting systems, comply with regulatory requirements, and support accurate billing and coding processes.

Requirements
- Active Wyoming Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with adult residents
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Availability to work the Day shift on a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
