Pay starting at $16/Hr Responsibilities As an Animal Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well‑being of our shelter animals. Your responsibilities will include: Cleaning and sanitizing cages, runs, floors, and rooms to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for the animals. Providing food and water to the animals, adhering to specific dietary requirements and ensuring they receive proper nutrition. Assisting with medical procedures by restraining animals as required, ensuring their safety and comfort. Requirements To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably, a minimum of 3 months of professional animal handling experience. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
