About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Strategy and Executive Operations to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to promote racial equity and ensure that every neighborhood thrives. This executive-level position is at the forefront of strategic execution, managing the CEO's priorities, and fostering board relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the rollout of a new, organization-wide strategy, breaking it down into actionable workstreams, and ensuring that all departments are aligned and accountable. This role requires a strong background in project management, the ability to support the CEO in a variety of capacities, and a genuine connection to the communities served. Key responsibilities for the VP of Strategy and Executive Operations include supporting the CEO in managing her meeting cadence, tracking commitments, and acting as a strategic advisor. The role also involves leading strategic execution, building and owning the full workplan, and managing change to ensure staff are prepared for new processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional projects, experience in preparing materials for a senior governing body, and a background in change management or organizational development. A PMP or equivalent project management credential is a plus. The role is critical in freeing the CEO to focus on external matters while keeping the internal operations of the organization running smoothly and effectively.
